Biography
Cara’s research interests are largely driven by her aim to increase the understanding of the effects that individual factors have on problematic substance use and in treating substance use disorders. Her research through the Human Pharmacological Laboratory frequently addresses issues of diversity. For example, She is exploring possible contributing factors to high rates of e-cigarette use within the LGBT+ community and is also involved in a qualitative study investigating smoking cessation among lower-income individuals in public housing.
